ART 235 | Project 3: PSA Campaign - Child-Sex Trafficking
I've been given the opportunity by the non-profit organization Operation Underground Railroad -in conjunction with the Ad Council to design a three-piece print ad campaign on Child-Sex Trafficking to move the intended audience to understand and become aware of the "New" Stranger Danger among us. The main objective was to build awareness that resonates with individuals and to help motive communities to act. The following series consists of the three poster designs being submitted for this campaign.
I am delighted that I was personally chosen as the designer for this ad campaign. Not only do I feel passionate about this subject, but I am grateful that they saw my creative abilities to design visually compelling communications that can captivate audiences and encourage deep thought on this matter. It's been a privilege working together with this non-profit and witnessing the ultimate goal of providing action among those who view the posters.
This project has allowed me to research and build my social and creative skills while utilizing visual communications and thought provoking designs that can help motive society.
Sketches
These were my first or original set of sketches as I was exploring my concept. The more I researched the more I sketched.
Failed Attempts
Until I developed a specific concept, I dabbled with many facets of human trafficking. These were my first designs, until I knew which direction I was going.
